Georgia Force News Release
FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Arena Football League has announced that DB Reggie Doster has been named ADT Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Tampa Bay Storm last Saturday night in Philips Arena.
Doster, 5-10, 190 pounds, collared seven tackles in addition to posting a career-high three interceptions in Georgia's 52-38 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm. The win secured the Force's third consecutive playoff appearance under head coach Doug Plank. Doster was signed on March 28, 2007 after being released by the Grand Rapids Rampage. He has posted 53 tackles, four interceptions, four passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one forced fumble in 10 games with the Rampage and Force.
"Reggie Doster has been an extremely valuable addition to our football team," said head coach Doug Plank. "He played a great game against Tampa Bay and found himself in positions to make plays. I believe his second interception really turned the momentum of the game in our favor and made it possible for us to win that game."
