
George Named to Canada's Hlinka Gretzky Roster

Owen Sound, ON - Owen Sound Attack goaltender Carter George has been named to the main roster for Hockey Canada's Under-18 Hlinka Gretzky Cup roster for the 2023 tournament.
George played 10 games with the Attack during the 2022-23 season, going 7-3 and posting a .924 save % and 2.41 goals against average. Spending most of the season playing for the St. Mary's Lincoln of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League, George was just as stellar going 13-2-0-1 with a 2.74 G.A.A. and a .910 save %, on a strong Lincoln's team. George will enter the 2023-24 OHL season still qualifying as a rookie as he looks to build on his 10 games from 2022-23.
The Hlinka Gretzky Cup will be jointed hosted overseas this year by Czech Republic and Slovakia from July 31-Aug 5.
