FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals continued down the right path week eight of this IHL season with their games against Bloomington and Fort Wayne. The games improved their overall record to 6-12-1-2 and 15 points through 21 games, and the recognition of John Mori as Rookie of the Week.
Friday, Bloomington was in town and the Generals handled them with ease, putting up a 3-0 lead before the end of the first period getting power play goals from John Mori and Tony Tuzzolino, and a second goal by Tuzzolino late in the period. They added two third period goals to finish off the PrairieThunder by a final score of 5-2.
