
Generals prepare for busy week with five games in seven days

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals will try to build off their success from the weekend when they begin a busy week of action with five games over seven days.
The Generals posted back-to-back wins for the first time since late January when they beat the Port Huron Icehawks 6-5 and then the Fort Wayne Komets 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night.
The schedule for the Generals begins with a road trip to Bloomington to meet the Prairie Thunder tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday night both at 8 pm eastern at US Cellular Coliseum. The Generals have won six of the last seven meetings between the Prairie Thunder.
On Tuesday night, Firken and Fox is hosting a Generals B2 Network Watch Party beginning at 7:30 pm. Fans are encouraged to come out and watch the Generals game on the big screen. Generals' staff members and the mascot General Rally will be in attendance. There will be prizes and tickets to be given away.
Fans can tune into both games on Unforgettable 1470 WFNT beginning with The Generals Pre-Game Report Protected by Teachout Security at 7:40 pm. Denis J. Puska has the play by play action at 8 pm. The broadcast is available on line at www.flintgenerals.com and video coverage is provided by the B2 Networks and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.
This Friday and Saturday night the Flint Generals are back at Perani Arena and Event Center at 7:30 when they host the Port Huron Icehawks at on back to back nights. The Generals and the Icehawks met in a wild game this past Friday in Port Huron and the teams combined for 160 penalty minutes and there was a linebrawl late in the third period.
Retro Night highlight's Saturday's activities and fans are encouraged to dress up in their favorite 70s attire and there will be themed games and activities to participate in.
