Generals Look for Revenge against 67's
November 14, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Oshawa Generals News Release
The Oshawa Generals will look to even up the season series with the Ottawa 67's tonight in the fourth meeting of the season between the two teams.
The 67's have won two of the first three meetings this season, the most recent being a 5-4 shootout victory over the Generals on October 24th.
In that game, Ottawa scored four unanswered goals in under three minutes in the third period to erase a 3-0 deficit. The game would eventually go to a shootout, where Ottawa's Brenden Sirizzotti would score the only goal.
Goaltender Patrick Leaver was in the net that game and is the projected starter tonight for the Generals. He enters this game leading the OHL in save percentage (.921) and is fourth with a 2.72 goals-against average.
Both teams are wrapping up a three-game weekend, so expect both head coaches tonight to be very strategic in their lineup management.
Puck drop is scheduled for 6:05 pm, as the Oshawa Generals look for revenge against the Ottawa 67's at Tribute Communities Centre.
