LAST GAME: Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks, saw rain interrupt the resumption of their suspended game against the Mississippi Braves from Saturday, forcing the two teams to suspend play for the second time in as many days. The two sides, who progressed only seven outs further during Sunday's action, will now play a double-header on Monday and another twin-bill on Tuesday to complete their five-game series. TODAY'S PITCHING MATCHUP: With bullpen arms likely to finish the suspended game from Saturday, Riley Smith is scheduled to start game 2 of Monday's twin-bill. Smith, a newly-minted All-Star, is the Southern League leader in starter ERA at 1.65 in 60 innings. Each of his last eight starts have featured one or fewer runs allowed and at least five innings pitched. He's scheduled to face Ian Anderson, the Atlanta Braves' No. 2 pitching prospect. Anderson's All-Star selection to the South Division roster this year came due to a 3-4 record and a 3.12 ERA with 77 strikeouts in 60.2 IP. He hasn't allowed more than 2 earned runs in any of his last 4 starts.

ALL-STAR-GAME-BOUND: The Southern League's All-Star Game will happen in Biloxi on June 18, and the Generals are sending a handful of deserving players (stats listed through May 31). Alternates have a chance to be added this week.
