LAST GAME: Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks, strung together their third consecutive win against Mobile on Saturday, beating the BayBears 7-1 at The Ballpark at Jackson. The Generals (63-47) have outscored the visiting BayBears (41-69) by a 17-2 aggregate count over the course of three games in this series.

TODAY'S PITCHING MATCHUP: Right-hander J.B. Bukauskas will make his Jackson debut on Sunday night after arriving from Double-A Corpus Christi (the Astros' affiliate) alongside Seth Beer as part of the return for the Zack Greinke trade. Bukauskas slots into MLB Pipeline's rankings of D-backs prospects at No. 12, a hard thrower who can miss bats (98 strikeouts in 85 2/3 innings this year) but has also struggled with control, having walked the most batters in the Texas League (54) at the time of his departure. He squares off with Double-A greenhorn Oliver Ortega, who had the Cal League's 4th best ERA (3.34) over 21 games (16 starts).

A ROTATION THAT HASN'T BEEN: Jackson has maintained an unusual streak with their pitching rotation since April. After their late-April series against Pensacola, no two Generals opponents have seen all of the same Jackson starting pitchers in consecutive series, a streak of 18 straight series lasting more than three full months.

ALL-STAR 2020: On July 29, the Jackson Generals announced that they would play host to the 2020 Southern League All-Star Game at The Ballpark at Jackson, their first All-Star Game since 2011.
