FLINT, MI - Flint Generals' fans will get a sneak peak at those players battling for position on the 08-09 team tonight when the Port Huron Icehawks visit Perani Arena and Event Center at 7:30 pm. It's the second and final exhibition game between the two teams prior to the start of the regular season next weekend.
The Generals are coming off an 8-6 loss to the Icehawks last night in a game that featured a see-saw affair and 10 goals in the final 20 minutes of hockey. Expected to be in the Generals' line-up tonight are Kyle Deck, who took part in the Detroit Red Wings training camp, Jared Dumba who plays his second exhibition game on defense and Justin DePretis who begins his first full season as a General.
Tickets for tonight's game are just $5 and can be picked up at the Ticketmaster Box Office located inside Perani Arena and Event Center.
Don't forget tomorrow is the annual Generals' Golf Outing and Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison. Twenty-eight foursomes will be competing. One Flint General player or staff member will be a fifth person added the team.
