Victoria Generals News Release
Generals fall to the Brazos Valley Bombers tonight at Riverside Stadium 6-1. A couple Generals that stood out tonight in this loss, Blake Cooper went 1 for 4, driving in the only Generals run all night. Cedric Valleries went 0 for 1 with 3 walks and scoring the only Generals run of the night.
The Bombers struck first tonight in the Top of the 2ndinning scoring 2 runs, making the score 2-0. The Bombers would go on to score 1 more run in the Top of the 4thinning to make it a 3-0 game.
The Generals would strike back in the Bottom of the 4th when Blake Cooper hit a RBI single to score Cedric Valleries, 3-1.
The Bombers would come up in the Top of the 5thinning and score 2 more runs to make the tally 5-1.
The Bombers would add on again in the Top of the 7th inning scoring 1 run from a wild pitch 6-1. The Generals couldn't get anything going in the next few innings and fell to the Bombers by a final score 6-1.
