Generals Extend Series Lead with Late Win

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes took an early lead but the Generals finished strong as they extended their series lead to 3-1 with a 5-2 win in front of a sell out crowd in Peterborough on Thursday night.

Declan Chisholm (2) opened scoring for the Petes. The Generals would score twice before Nick Robertson (1) tied the game at two. Oshawa scored three unanswered goals in the third period.

Zach Gallant, Brady Hinz, Chisholm, Chris Paquette, and Adam Timleck each recorded single assists.

Hunter Jones made 22 saves for the Petes. Final shots were 37-27 for Peterborough.

The Petes were 1/6 on the power play and 6/6 on the penalty kill.

The Petes Fan Bus is headed to Oshawa for Saturday, March 30's game. For $50 fans will receive transportation to and from Oshawa, a game ticket, snacks, Petes merch, giveaways, and more. The bus will leave the PMC at 5:00pm on Saturday. Contact Julia at (705) 977-0127 or fill out an online form to sign up.

As of 9:30am on Friday, March 29, Season Ticket Members may purchase tickets for a potential game six in Peterborough on Sunday, March 31 at 7:05pm. Tickets will be available for pick up after 1:00pm on Sunday. Should game six not be necessary, Season Ticket Members will get an automatic credit on their account for the balance as a refund.

If the Petes win in Oshawa on Saturday tickets will go on sale to the general public online as soon as the game is over, and in-person and over the the phone when the Baker Tilly Box Office opens at 1:00pm on Sunday.
