Generals, Barons Stopped by Weather Friday

Jackson, Tenn. - The Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks, postponed their series finale with the Birmingham Barons on Friday due to inclement weather. The Generals (17-16) and Barons (13-21) will make up the game as part of a double-header during their next series in the First Half, when they meet in Birmingham June 2-6.

Specific details on the date and time of the make-up game have not been announced at press time. Entering tonight's game, the Generals and Barons were tied 2-2 in their present series, with the Generals leading the season series 6-3. Jackson will now go on the road for five games against the Mobile BayBears, beginning Saturday at 7:05pm CT at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile. Birmingham will remain on the road, traveling to visit the Tennessee Smokies on Saturday.
