Generals Acquire Draft Pick from London Knights

Oshawa, Ont - The Oshawa Generals announce they have traded overage forward Tye McSorley to the London Knights in exchange for a 10th round draft pick in 2023.

McSorley was the Generals' 11th round selection in the 2017 OHL priority draft. He made his debut with the team during the 2019-20 season.

In 49 career games with the Oshawa Generals, McSorley registered one goal and seven assists. The most productive game of his career came just a few weeks ago as he registered three assists against the Frontenacs in Kingston on November 12th.

He is set to now join a London Knights team that sits atop the Western Conference standings with a 15-4-0-1 record.

The Oshawa Generals organization wishes Tye all the best the rest of this season and in his hockey career.
