Gene and Sherri Cotter Named Billet Family of the Year

The United States Hockey League (USHL) and the Lincoln Stars have announced that Gene and Sherri Cotter have won the Stars Billet Family of the Year Award.
"I can't thank the Cotters enough for their generosity and dedication to the Lincoln Stars organization over the years," Stars President Lori Crocker said. "Billeting is often a thankless job and I am honored to have Gene and Sherri as our Billet Family of the Year; it's well deserved! I appreciate all of our billet families as it's one of the most important parts of the organization."
Gene and Sherri have been billeting since 2013, recently housing Stars defenseman Joey Pierce. The Cotters have also assisted in taking in affiliate players on short notice, selflessly opening up their house without hesitation.
We'd like to once again thank Gene and Sherri for their dedication to the Stars organization!
