
Gems Route the Rogues in 8-0 Series Sweep

Klamath Falls, OR: Adam Daymude (University of California Riverside) celebrated his first game as a Klamath Falls Gem, going 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's as the Gems swept the Medford Rogues, taking the second game in the series 8-0 at Kiger Stadium. Three other Gems players contributed 2 RBI's each as the Gems pounded out ten hits in the win.
Skye Adams (Central Washington University) moved to 2-1 on the year with six innings of shutout baseball for the Gems. Mason Stidham (Seattle University) took the loss in his first start for Medford, falling to 0-1. The Gems moved into a tie for third place with Cowlitz in the South Division, improving to 15-15 with the win. The Rogues lose their second straight game, and move to 11-16 overall in the 2013 season.
