Bend, OR: July 3, 2013 Cody Hough (UC Riverside) provided an RBI single and a two run home run for the Gems but it wasn't enough as Bend defeated the Gems 6-5 at Vince Genna Stadium in Bend, OR on Wednesday night, Garrett Anderson (Seattle University) picked up his first win in relief for Bend. Angelo Lingos (UC Riverside) dropped to 0-2 with the loss in relief for Klamath Falls. The Gems now have a 12-12 record, and Bend improves to 17-9.
The next Gems home game will be tomorrow, July 4th as the Gems host the Bend Elks at Kiger Stadium with the first pitch at 6:35 pm.
