GBL Championship Series Schedule Announced

(Chico, CA. September 8th, 2010) The Chico Outlaws announced today that if the team advances to the GBL Championship Series next week against the winner of the GBL South first round playoff series, the Outlaws would host games one and two at Nettleton Stadium.
The Golden Baseball League informed the Outlaws that game one would be at the Nett on Tuesday, September 14th, with game two on Wednesday, September 15th. Both games would be 7:05 pm starts. Thursday September 16th would be a travel day, with the final three games of the best-of-five series to be played starting Friday September 17th and running through Sunday, September 19th at the GBL South Division representative's home field.
Orange County and Maui are playing the GBL South Division's first round playoff series, with Na Koa Ikaika up two games to one in the best-of-five series. Game four of that series is Saturday at Goodwin Field in Fullerton, CA.
The Outlaws lead their best-of-five first round matchup against Calgary two games to none after a 6-3 win tonight. Game three of the best of five series is Saturday night at 5:05 pm MDT at Foothills Stadium in Calgary. Kris Honel starts for the Outlaws against Calgary's Dusty Gober.
