Gayle Scores 50 to End Buzz Streak

Fresno, CA. Orange County Buzz GM/Head Coach Burrel Lee III asked his two year old son Jalen to tell Santa Claus in the Mall what you want for Christmas. After Jalen finished, Burrel wasked over and whispered in Santa's ear, "yo if you can all I want for Christmas is a Win and to end this 13 game losing streak." The Orange County Buzz ventured up to Fresno Thursday night and came away with a 126-122 win.
"All I was thinking is next Christmas I am asking Santa for an NBA coaching job, because the big man came through for us and delivered on my wish," joked Lee.
But this night wasn't all about wishes and Christmas; newly signed guard Lamar Gayle showed all why the Buzz signed him, scoring 50 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and picking up three steals. "I had 33 points the other night and we lost in Tijuana. I can care less how many I score. What is important is that we play as a team and came away with a win," said Gayle.
But Gayle wasn't the only Buzz player having a big game. Rudy Williams added 25 points, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks. Point guard Kamran Sufi added 11 points and a whopping 18 assists. "Kamran has had games of 17, 15, 12, 17, and 18 assists in the last few games and playing 48 minutes, he finally got a rest tonight and it paid off big. I do believe the last two seasons Kamran led the ABA in assist to turnover ratio," added Coach Lee.
