Radio: 103.7 FM and 750 AM KFQD
Watch: ECHL-TV with Kurt Haider
The Aces suffered their second consecutive 2-1 loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones Friday night at the Sullivan Arena. Shane Walsh and Martin Lefebvre scored second period goals to stake the visitors to a 2-0 lead before Alaska's Ben Lake snapped home a close-range shot in the third period. The Aces pressed for the game-tying goal, but were turned away by Cyclones goaltender Michael Houser, who finished with 32 saves for the win. Cincinnati also took a 2-1 win Wednesday in the first game of the series. The loss was a missed opportunity for Alaska to increase their lead over Utah and Missouri in the race for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Mountain Division. Entering the day, Alaska's advantage was four points over Utah and five over Missouri. The Grizzlies and Mavericks both lost Friday, as did third-place Idaho.
