The Skyforce returns home for the start of the 34th year of professional basketball in Sioux Falls. They face a Fort Wayne team that is leading the NBA G League in scoring per game, with 141 points per game.

It marks the second time since 2018-19 that the Force opens at home against the Mad Ants. Sioux Falls defeated Fort Wayne 112-101 on 11/2/18. Three players scored 18-plus points, with Yante Maten leading the way with 20 points and six rebounds.

Last season, Sioux Falls dropped a back-to-back with Fort Wayne, but Micah Potter compiled 20 points and 21 rebounds in the series finale.

The Skyforce, who dropped two tough decisions in Iowa over opening weekend, come into the contest as a top-nine rebounding team in the NBA G League, with 47.5 rebounds per game.

With players like NBA veteran Mychal Mulder, Chandler Hutchison and DJ Stewart, the Skyforce looks to improve on their 24.6 percent three-point shooting (8.5-34.5 3PA per game). On the flip side, Fort Wayne is first in the NBA G League in three-point percentage (46.3 on 15.5-33.5 3PA). Their 15.5 3PM per game is good for second in the league, as well.

Orlando Robinson and Jamal Cain had productive stat lines in the opening weekend in Des Moines. Robinson is averaging 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, while Cain is averaging 20.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. The duo have scored the most combined points (79) and rebounds (40) since Yante Maten and Raphiael Putney to start 2018-19. Cain is leading the NBA G League in offensive rebounds per game (6.5). His 13 total offensive rebounds are the most to start a season for Sioux Falls in the NBA G League era.

The Mad Ants feature 2022 NBA G League MVP Trevelin Queen, who is averaging 27 points per game so far this season. Gabe York, who earned an NBA Call-Up with the Indiana Pacers last season, ranks second in the league in scoring per game with 32.5 points. Six-year NBA veteran Justin Anderson looks to fill in for David Stockton in ball handling duties and will look to get into the paint to spray the ball to shooters.

Following the lone contest in Sioux Falls, both teams will head to Fort Wayne to compete in a contest on Saturday evening at 7:00 PM CST from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
