Round Rock plays its final exhibition game Tuesday when the Express host Double-A Frisco at The Dell Diamond. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CDT. This is the second exhibition game this season between the Texas Rangers ¬â¢ two highest affiliates. The Express defeated the RoughRiders 10-2 Sunday afternoon at Frisco.

EXPRESS: RHP Brett Tomko
Tomko, who celebrates his 38th birthday on Opening Day, is in his first season with the Rangers organization. He is 16th professional season, spending the majority of his career at the Major League level. ¬Â¦ Tomko was 0-1 with a 5.00 ERA in eight relief outings for the Rangers during Spring Training, logging two saves and 12 strikeouts in 18.0 innings. ¬Â¦ Tomko pitched in the Oakland Athletics organization last season, splitting the year between Class A-Advanced Stockton and Triple-A Sacramento after two starts for the rookie-league AZL Athletics. He posted a 2-3 record for the season in 14 outings, all starts. ¬Â¦ Tomko last pitched in the Major Leagues in 2009 ¬" his first season in the Athletics organization, going 4-1 with a 2.95 ERA in six starts. He has pitched in the Majors for Cincinnati (1997-1999), Seattle (2000-2001), San Diego (2002, 2007), St. Louis (2003), San Francisco (2004-2005), Los Angeles-NL (2006-2007), Kansas City (2008) and Oakland (2008-2009). Tomko owns a career 100-102 record at the Major League level with a 4.65 ERA in 389 appearances, 266 of which were starts. ¬Â¦ Look for Tomko to work four-to-five innings before giving way to LHP Zach Jackson.
ROUGHRIDERS: LHP Miguel de los Santos
In his sixth professional season, de los Santos appeared in only one game for the Rangers during Spring Training and allowed two runs on two hits in 1.0 inning. He has spent his entire professional career in the Rangers organization. Considered one of the Rangers top prospects, de los Santos split the 2010 season between short-season Spokane and Class-A Hickory. He posted a 4-2 mark between the two leagues last season with 112 strikeouts over 70.1 innings in 19 outings, 13 of which were starts.
ROSTER MOVE
RHP Chris Mobley joins the Express roster for tonight ¬â¢s game and will open the season with Round Rock. The Rangers will make a roster move Thursday to set the roster at 24 players for Opening Day.
NEXT GAME
Round Rock opens its 2011 season at home Thursday, hosting the Iowa Cubs for a 7:05 p.m. first pitch at The Dell Diamond. LHP Michael Kirkman gets the Opening Day start for the Express, while RHP Thomas Diamond goes for the Cubs.
