Capital City Go-Go News Release
The Capital City Go-Go return home for the first time in 2024 to take on the Raptors 905.
Capital City began the year on 5-game road trip with stops in Maine, Westchester, Greensboro, and Grand Rapids. The team went 2-3 over that span, with wins against Maine and Greensboro.
In the Go-Go's most recent matchup on Sunday in Grand Rapids, they were defeated 114-102. Capital City jumped out early, leading by as many as nine points and ending the quarter ahead 30-26. However, the Gold closed the deficit in the 2nd quarter and maintained their lead for the rest of the game. Washington Wizards two-way players Eugene Omoruyi and Jared Butler led the Go-Go in points, both with 29.
The Go-Go now return home to Entertainment & Sports Arena to take on the Raptors 905 for their first home game of 2024. The two teams faced each other last month on December 28, for a matchup in which the Go-Go won 143-109. In that game, eight players scored in double figures with a team-high 25 points coming from Eugene Omoruyi. The 143 points scored by Capital City were the second-most in franchise history, as the team shot a season-high 56.8% from the field with 34 assists on the evening.
Tickets for this game are still available via Ticketmaster. The game will also stream live on ESPN+ and on the Monumental Sports Network.
