Last night the Ice Flyers rode Jesse Kallechy to another W as they defeated the Mississippi RiverKings 3-1 and now have 7 of 8 possible points in their last 4 games. The Huntsville Havoc were tamed last night by the Mississippi Surge 4-3. This is the 7th and final meeting between the two teams in the regular season. The season series is tied at 3 games apiece. The last time the Flyers and Havoc met it was a 3-0 win for the Havoc.
The Ice Flyers are 4th in the SPHL with a record of 25-18-4 for 54 points. The Havoc sit in 7th at 19-24-5 and 43 points. The Ice Flyers are 12-10-3 on the road and Huntsville is 11-10-2 at home.

PENSACOLA - The Ice Flyers started off this two game road trip on the right foot with last night's 3-1 win over the RiverKings. Ryan Hohl picked up his second and third goals of the season while Jordan Chong chipped in the third goal. Corey Milan's overall record stands at 10-11-4 with a 3.27 goals against average and a .880 save percentage; his record with the Ice Flyers stands at 6-5-2, a 2.66 GAA, and a 0.902 SV%. Jesse Kallechy has played in 2 games for the Ice Flyers and both were wins. His overall numbers stand at 8-8-2, a 3.28 GAA, and a 0.902 SV%; with the Ice Flyers he's 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a 0.969 SV%. Chris Wilson still leads the team in points with 48 and goals with 27. Jordan Chong still leads the team in assists with 28.
The Ice Flyers' power play is now back in 2nd with a success rate of 19.64% after two tallies with the man advantage last night. Huntsville's power play is 6th in the SPHL at a measly 16.67%, scoring 37 power play goals and allowing 9 shorthanded goals (tied for most in the league. The Havoc's is 3rd in the league at 84.45% with 37 power play goals against. They've only managed to score 2 shorthanded goals, though.
This game closes out the weekend for the Havoc as well but they will travel to Southaven, Mississippi for another Tuesday game against the RiverKings.
