The Ice Flyers come into tonight's game looking for pay back against the Havoc after last night's heartbreaking 4-3 shootout loss. This is the last game of the Ice Flyers' 4 games in 5 nights road trip. The season series with Huntsville now stands at 2 wins apiece. Huntsville is now 10-7-1 at home and the Ice Flyers' are now 8-8-3 on the road. As a result of last night's point, the Ice Flyers now sit only 6 points behind the Columbus Cottonmouths and have a 4 point lead over the Louisiana IceGators, Mississippi Surge, and Huntsville for 4th place.

Team Scope:

PENSACOLA - The Ice Flyers have earned 5 points in their last three games hope to close out the weekend strong. Corey Milan's overall record now stands at 6-6-3 with a 3.61 goals against average and a .867 save percentage. Jeff Rose has a combined record of 4-7-1, 4.03 GAA, and a 0.857 SV%. Jordan Chong still leads the team with 36 points. Chris Wilson holds the team lead in goals with 16 and Chong leads the team in assists with 22.

The Ice Flyers' power play is 3rd best in the league at 18.82% The Flyers have scored 32 power play goals while only giving up 1 shorthanded goal. Pensacola's penalty kill sits in 4th at 82.09% with 24 power play goals against while managing to score 5 shorthanded goals.

The Ice Flyers' next game will be Wednesday February 8th when the boys travel to Louisiana to take on the IceGators.

HUNTSVILLE- The Havoc were the fresher team last night but it still took a shootout to beat the Ice Flyers. Tonight will prove to be an even tougher test as the Flyers will have a night of rest without travel. Huntsville relies on Kevin Beech and Matt Hache in net. Beech has a combined record of 8-5-1, a 3.62 GAA, and a 0.874 SV%. Hache has a total record of 5-7-0, a 4.04 GAA, and a 0.870 SV%. Huntsville's leading scorers remain Ryan Kretzer and Glenn Detulleo who now have 40 points each. Kretzer holds the team lead in goals with 17 while Detulleo still leads the team in assists with 30.

Huntsville's power play is still 7th in the SPHL at 15.98% with 27 goals but 6 shorthanded goals against. Their penalty kill is 3rd in the league at 83.96% with 30 power play goals against and they have only managed 2 shorthanded goals.

The Havoc won't play again until next Saturday when they host the Mississippi RiverKings.
