The Erie SeaWolves head to the The Diamond for the only time this season to start a three game series with the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants)...Erie starts the series after taking a 7-1 win over the Altoona Curve....Beau Burrows worked a season-high 7.0 IP in his seventh win of the season and struck out nine Altoona Curve batters....Daz Cameron went yard for the 5th time this season and racked up three RBIs....Erie has now dropped consecutive series losses for the first time since May 31st when the SeaWolves lost consecutively to Trenton and Binghamton....Sergio Alcantara went 12-for-22 in the Altoona series with only one extra base hit.....The SeaWolves are 6.5 games out of a playoff spot behind the second place Altoona Curve....Alex Faedo returns to the mound for the first time since July 5th to make his fourth AA start....The first-round draft pick struggled in his last start against Binghamton before the All-Star break, allowing seven runs on six hits and five walks through just 3.1 IP...The SeaWolves ended up winning that game 12-9...This will be Faedo's first start against a Giants affiliate...LHP Conner Menez will make his sixth Eastern League start and his first against Erie...Menez worked a season-high 7.0 IP on July 7 against Akron en route to his third win, only giving up two runs on five hits and one walk.
