(ALLEN, TEXAS) The Dallas Sidekicks will play their fifth game of the 2020-2021 MASL season on Saturday, February 6th against the Tacoma Stars at 7:00 PM at the Allen Event Center. The Dallas Sidekicks "Superclásico" is presented by the Methodist McKinney Hospital..
This will be the third game of the season for the Stars who opened the season with a 6-5 overtime win at Kansas City before falling to St. Louis 3-5. Tacoma is entering the Lone Star State with a 1-1 record that matches their record against the Sidekicks last season as both team pulled off exciting one goal wins in the series. In the last ten meetings between the storied indoor clubs, Tacoma holds a narrow 6-4 advantage.
Mike Arguello is expected to make his season debut in goal for the Stars against the Sidekicks. Mike Ramos is scheduled to return from missing his last game due to COVID protocols. He was one of the Stars best performers against the Sidekicks last season with six points in the two games including a hat-trick and an assist when the two teams meet last on February 15, 2020.
The First Kick will be Dallas Sidekicks legend Terry Woodberry who was originally a 1988 draft pick of the Dallas Sidekicks who spent three years with the team and later returned in 1999 helping the club win the championship in 2001. The halftime performance will be done by Dog Star Entertainment and include dog tricks and canines who excel at catching frisbees.
