Seattle Sounders FC News Release


Following a 3-1 win at Los Angeles FC in the Western Conference Championship, Sounders FC is now set to face Toronto in the 2019 MLS Cup on Sunday, November 10 at CenturyLink Field. Toronto earned a 2-1 road victory over Atlanta United FC in the Eastern Conference Championship.

The entire Puget Sound region has been standing behind Sounders FC this week, supporting the club as it aims to bring home a second MLS Cup Championship. Due to the Sounders FC record crowd arriving in SoDo on Sunday, in addition to expected traffic congestion across the city, media are encouraged to arrive early. Media can access CenturyLink Field beginning at 9:00 a.m. PT, while general admission gates open at 10:00 a.m. PT. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:08 p.m. PT.

Seattle defeated LAFC in the Western Conference Championship in Los Angeles (Mike Fiechtner / Seattle Sounders FC).

Sunday's match is being broadcast nationally on ABC featuring Jon Champion, Taylor Twellman and Sebastian Salazar on the call. A Spanish-language national broadcast is available on Univision, with Jose Luis Lopez Salido, Raul Guzman, Marcelo Balboa, Diego Balado and Ramses Sandoval on the call.

Sports Radio 950 KJR AM is airing the contest, with Matt Johnson and Kasey Keller providing the commentary, as well as Jackson Felts, Wade Webber, Pete Fewing and Danny Jackson on pre-match, halftime and post-match coverage. Fans in Western Washington can tune in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez, Felipe Maqueda and Carlos Tapia.
