After concluding its three-match home swing last weekend, Sounders FC hits the road on Saturday, June 6 to face Sporting Kansas City at Sporting Park (5:30 p.m. PT / JOEtv, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Coverage for Saturday's match begins at 5:00 p.m. PT and is being televised locally on JOEtv with Ross Fletcher, Kasey Keller and Jackie Montgomery on the call. A radio simulcast is taking place on KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, with Jason Rantz, Wade Webber and Pete Fewing in the studio providing pre and post-match radio coverage. El Rey 1360 AM is also airing the match in Spanish, as fans throughout Western Washington can hear "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda on the call tomorrow, with pre-match coverage beginning at 5:00 p.m. PT.
Saturday's match marks the second showdown of the season between Seattle (8-3-2, 26 points) and Sporting Kansas City (5-2-6, 21 points) after playing to a scoreless draw in Seattle on May 23. Unbeaten in their last four matches (3-0-1), the Rave Green have vaulted to the top of the Western Conference, while SKC is tied for third amidst a six-match unbeaten streak (3-0-3).
