Bridge City Bits:
The Blades come in as the top team in the WHL leading the Calgary Hitmen by 2 points for both first in the Eastern Conference and 1st overall. They have lost just 2 games in regulation over their past ten games. At the C.U.C. they are a fantastic 22-6-3-1, but the Blades are just as good on the road with a 21-8-0-3 mark
Who's who: The Blades are one of the most rugged teams to play against in the WHL with just 4 players under 6'0 (all 5'11). Offensively, they have 5 players averaging almost a point a game, lead by former Regina Pat Derek Hulak.

Battle of Top Three WHL Scorers:
The 2 Regina Pats are in the hunt for the Bob Clarke Trophy, which goes to the league's top scorer. Both Eberle and Weal have a chance to hit 100 points for the first time since Ronald Petrovicky did the trick in 1997-98 with 113 points (Blake Evans scored 102 points in 2000-01, but 59 were with the Tri-City Americans). The last Regina Pat to lead the league in scoring was Dale Derkatch in 1982-83 with 179 points. With a goal and 2 assists last night, Eberle has taken over the league lead in points.
