LAST NIGHT: The Indians picked up their sixth consecutive win with a 9-7 victory over Charlotte on Saturday. The Tribe used another offensive onslaught to rally from a 3-0 deficit and break an eventual 7-7 tie in the seventh. Patrick Kivlehan delivered the decisive knock with a go-ahead double after the stretch that scored Trayvon Robinson from first base. Kivlehan then hustled home on a two-out single by Jake Elmore, and Dovydas Neverauskas (H, 1) and Michael Feliz (S, 1) retired the final six batters - three on strikeouts - to seal the win. Cole Tucker sparked the offense with three hits, three runs scored and stolen base No. 4, and he also made a web gem play at short to take away a hit in the seventh. Elmore also finished with three hits and two RBI from the No. 9 hole. The Tribe totaled a season-high 16 hits. Brandon Maurer (W, 2-0) gave up the tying run in the seventh but earned the win. Eduardo Vera allowed four earned runs on four hits, four walks and two punchouts in his Victory Field debut.

THIS AFTERNOON: Right-hander Rookie Davis (0-0, 13.50) gets the nod against Charlotte righty Dylan Cease (1-0, 0.00), who entered the 2019 campaign ranked as the No. 3 prospect in the White Sox organization and No. 38 overall in baseball according to Baseball America. The Tribe are seeking their fourth four-game sweep of Charlotte dating back to the 1998 season. Their most recent four-game sweep of the Knights came from July 21-24, 2016 at Victory Field.

STREAK STUFF: The Indians are on a six-game winning streak, their longest since a seven-game stretch from June 2-9, 2018. During the current winning streak, the Tribe are batting a league-best .338 (76-for-225) with 19 doubles, four triples, 10 home runs, 12 stolen bases and 43 runs scored, an average of 7.2 per game. The pitching staff has also impressed during the stretch, recording a 3.17 ERA (19er/54.0ip) and .231 average against. Their 3.17 ERA since the April 7 game in Columbus is second in the IL to Pawtucket (2.89).

SWEET 16: For a second consecutive game, Indy established a new single-game high for hits. The Tribe had 15 on Friday and 16 last night, marking the first time they've had consecutive games with 15-plus hits since Aug. 9-10, 2014 vs. Rochester. They won those two games against the Red Wings 14-5 and 10-0.

WELCOME SIGNS FOR THE REHABBERS: C Elias Diaz collected two more hits last night to make him 8-for-17 (.471) in four rehab games. OF Gregory Polanco started in right last night and went 2-for-5 with two run-scoring singles, a run scored and two stolen bases. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas was also a bright spot out of the bullpen - he bookended a perfect eighth with strikeouts.

CHECK OUT THE LEADERBOARD: The Indians have six different position players who rank in the top five in at least one of the following offensive categories in the IL: average, home runs, RBI, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, OPS, base hits, doubles, triples, extra-base hits, total bases, runs scored and stolen bases.

HOT STRETCH: Trayvon Robinson has reached base safely in 12 of his last 15 plate appearances, recording two triples, two doubles, six singles and two walks. He ranks second in the IL in batting (.500, 11-for-22), first in OBP, second in OPS and tied for first in triples.

MUST BE BRYAN REYNOLDS OR SOMETHIN': Bryan Reynolds has hit safely in each of Indy's eight games so far this season. He's batting .406 (13-for-32) with three homers, one triple, one double, four RBI and eight runs scored for the Tribe.

EASY FOR KE'BRYAN: After enduring a brief 0-for-9 slide to begin the season, Ke'Bryan Hayes has been swinging a hot bat. He is batting .367 (11-for-30) with one homer, six doubles and seven RBI during a seven-game hitting streak.

15 OUT OF 16: The Indians have gone 15-1 against Charlotte in their last 16 meetings at Victory Field. Five of those games have been decided by one run and nine have been within two runs or less. During that time, the Tribe have outscored the Knights 73-39.
