Back in the Open Cup: San Antonio FC host South Texas rival and MLS side Austin FC on Wednesday in the third round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. SAFC has twice seen MLS clubs in the Open Cup, but both came in the fourth round. The club is 0-2 in the previous run ins with MLS foes, but is 2-2 all time in the third round of the competition.
Who Are You Guys: San Antonio FC and Austin FC have never met before, with Austin joining MLS in 2021 as an expansion club. The match is Austin's first-ever US Open Cup appearance. Among the Best in the West:
