Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Sunday's game four of the South Division Championship Series between the Jacksonville Suns and the Mobile BayBears from Bragan Field has been suspended due to a heavy rainstorm that came through the Jacksonville area. The Suns led 4-1 with Viosergy Rosa on second base and Joe Benson at the plate with a full count and two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning before the game was suspended on Sunday night.

The game will be resumed and completed on Monday starting at 12:00 p.m. ET. Should a fifth and deciding game be necessary, game five of the SDCS will take place following the completion of game four on Monday afternoon, with that ballgame being scheduled for nine innings. The Suns lead the BayBears 2-1 in the SDCS.

Suns fans can listen to all of Monday's action on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through www.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET starting with the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show.

The 2014 season of Suns baseball is presented by EverBank, the official banking partner of the Jacksonville Suns. Sponsorships, group outings, and season / individual game tickets are currently available by calling the Suns front office at (904) 358-2846.
