Your Aberdeen Wings (16-5-1-1) return to the Odde this weekend to host the Minnesota Wilderness (13-10-1-0). The Wings will be looking to build on their Central Division lead. Coming off 3 straight wins including a 21 goal weekend last weekend at the Odde over Chippewa and a close 2-1 win this past Tuesday at Brookings. The Wings have also received numerous honors this week, Shawn Kennedy was named NAHL Central Division Star of the Week with Jon Bendorf being named Honorable Mention, Dalton Weigel was named NAHL Defensive Player of the Month, Jon Bendorf was Honorable Mention for Forward of the month, and Matt Vernon was Honorable Mention for Goaltender of the month. Jonathan Bendorf also announced his commitment to DI Mercyhurst University.
Friday night is Kids FREE Friday at the Odde! Buy an adult ticket at the door and receive a FREE kids ticket for a kids 12 and under! The Stutsman Harley Davidson Game Sponsor is Stutsman Harley Davidson. Bring your skates and Skate with the Wings after the game. BMX riders who wear your uniforms will receive $5 admission!
Saturday night is the Aberdeen Area BMX Jersey Auction with Auctioneer Val Jark of Jark Worlie Auctions! Presentation College students will receive FREE admission to the game! Doors open at 5:30 and the puck always drops at 7:15pm!
