Head-To-Head - This is the seventh meeting of the season and the second game at Allen Event Center. The two teams will play a total of 13 times this season. Allen leads the season series 6-0-0.
Today - If the playoffs were to start today, the Allen Americans would be the 4th seed in the Western Conference, and open the playoffs hosting the 5th seeded Quad City Mallards.
Streaking - Chad Costello and David Makowski both have six game point streaks coming into tonight's game against the Wichita Thunder. Chad Costello leads the ECHL with 58 points.
Special Teams - The Allen Americans scored both on the power play and shorthanded on Friday night's 4-3 overtime win over the Wichita Thunder. Chris Crane's shorthanded goal was the first shorthanded goal of his career.
American Milestone -Â Americans forward Jonathan Parker is now a member of the 200 club tonight as he played in his 200th professional game. Parker began his pro career with the Rochester Americans of the AHL in the 2011-2012 season.
 Wichita Thunder Notes - The Wichita Thunder have scored the fewest goals in the league this season at 80, and are the only team in the ECHL that has failed to win double digit games this year with just nine wins. Wichita is led by forward Ian Lowe who has 21 points, close behind Kenton Miller with 20.
Red Hot - Chris Crane has scored in three consecutive games for the Americans addidng both a power play goal and shorthanded goal over that three game span. Crane had the game winner in the Americans 3-1 victory last night in Wichita.
