The Regina Pats (2-3) return to home ice on Saturday night for game six of their first round series with the Swift Current Broncos (3-2). Puck drop is at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre. The Pats dropped game five on Friday night in Swift Current 5-2 and trail the best-of-seven series three games to two. The game can be heard starting at 6:35 with Bennett Dunlop Ford Pats Hockey on 620 CKRM. The game will also be broadcast on Access 7.

The Lead Up: Pats drop game five Friday
The Regina Pats lost 5-2 in game five on Friday night in Swift Current. With the win, the Broncos take a 3-2 series lead. The Pats opened the scoring with the power play when Nick Henry jammed home his first of the post-season. The Broncos power play responded with two late in the period to lead 2-1 at the break. Swift Current added to their lead with three goals in the second and it was 5-1 after 40 minutes. Regina got to within three with another power play goal from Nick Henry, his second of the night but that's as close as they came, falling 5-2. Henry and Sam Steel led the offence with two point nights while Ryan Kubic made 28 saves. The Pats outshot Swift Current 42-33, the power play was two for four and the penalty kill three for six.
Head to Head
The Pats split the first four games of the series, winning once at home and once on the road before losing game five in Swift Friday to trail the series 3-2. Swift Current has scored 16 goals in the series, Regina has 11. The Regina powerplay has gone five for 22 and the penalty kill 24 for 33. Sam Steel leads the Pats with six points in the series, Cameron Hebig and Emil Oksanen are next with four points. Ryan Kubic is 2-3 with a 3.30 goals against average and a .890 save percentage. The Broncos are led by Tyler Steenbergen who has 10 points in the series. Glenn Gawdin and Aleksi Heponiemi are next with eight points. Stuart Skinner is 3-2 with a 2.22 goals against average and a .940 save percentage.

Pats forward Nick Henry scored his first two goals of the playoffs in game five on Saturday night. The 18-year-old scored both of his markers on the powerplay and is up to three points in five games in the series. All three of his points have come in the last three games.
