March 30, 2024 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers (0-0-1) look to draw even in their Best of 7 Eastern Conference Quarter Final with the Red Deer Rebels (1-0-0) Saturday night at Co-op Place, after falling in double overtime Friday night to open up their edition of the WHL Playoffs.
Kalan Lind helped finish the comeback for the Rebels after the Tigers took a 4-0 lead almost 23 minutes into the game, thanks to goals from Oasiz Wiesblatt, Andrew Basha, Gavin McKenna & Josh Van Mulligen. Thanks to a set of bounces and misfortune the Rebels were able to get their footing and get back into the game before Ollie Josephson sent the game to extra time with just under seven minutes to go in regulation.
Puck-drop is set for 7 PM, you can get your tickets for the game with plenty of available options as this Game Preview is released.
Can't make it? You can listen to the game on the home of the Tigers, Wild 94.5 with the Voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli & Lance Doll. Starting with the pre-game show at 6:30.
Games 3 & 4 will shift to Red Deer April 2 & 3 next week.
