June 6, 2012 - North American League (NAmL)
Fort Worth Cats News Release
Fort Worth, Texas--The anticipated matchup between the San Angelo Colts vs the Fort Worth Cats tonight has been called due to inclement weather. A doubleheader with two 7-inning games has been scheduled for tomorrow, with the first game set to begin at 6:05.
Set to start in Game 1 tomorrow is still RHP Tim Haines. Game 2 will begin 30 minutes following the first game, and RHP Kane Holbrooks will take the mound. Originally set to start was left hander James Guilietti, who will now start on Friday.
The Cats remain in first place in the South Division in the United Baseball League, with only one game separating them from the San Angelo Colts.
Fans that had tickets to tonight's game may exchange them for any future 2012 home game, excluding July 4th. Fans with tickets for tomorrow may come to both games. The rain policy is as follows: If less than 5 innings of any Fort Worth Cats games are played (4 1/2 if Cats are ahead) or the game is cancelled for any reason outside the control of the Fort Worth Cats on this date, the ticket stub is good for the equal value of any future 2012 regular season home game for the Fort Worth Cats. Excludes July 4 and any postseason game. Tickets are subject to availability at the time of the exchange. Rain check tickets must be exchanged at the Cats ticket office.
