Gamblers Acquire Bechen from Madison

The Green Bay Gamblers have acquired forward Blake Bechen from the Madison Capitols in exchange for a 2024 Phase 1 6th round pick. Bechen will report to Green Bay on September 1 for the start of training camp.
Bechen was a member of the 2023 Clark Cup champion Youngstown Phantoms. The Dubuque, Iowa native appeared in 36 games for the Phantoms, registering 12 points (4 goals & 8 assists). Bechen was traded to Madison after the completion of the season.
Bechen is one of 16 players on the Gamblers training camp roster who saw playing time in the USHL last season. The 16 players accounted for 580 games and 181 points in the USHL last season.
The Gamblers home opener for their 30th season in Northeast Wisconsin is Saturday, October 7.
