Aberdeen Wings News Release
After a scoreless 1st period the Wings fell behind early in the 2nd with the Wilderness putting up 2 goals in the first 6:33 of the period. Aberdeen would answer back however with a Trystan Isenhour goal at the 15:09 mark of the 2nd. Carter Roo and Colin Raver assisted. The teams would head into the final 20 minutes with the Wings still trailing by a goal. In the 3rd Aberdeen's offense would explode for 4 straight goals to give them a 5-2 lead. Scoring for the Wings were once again Trystan Isenhour, Gage Mackie, Carter Roo and then another from Mackie. The Wings would give up 2 late goals to make things interesting, but would ultimately hold on for the win. Arttu Kulmala was between the pipes for the Wings and stopped 22 of the 26 shots he faced.
The Wings will hit the road this weekend to take on the Chippewa Steel in a 2 game series. Puck drop for both nights is set for 7:10pm.
