G-Braves/Stars Rained Out Wednesday

Mississippi Braves News Release


GREENVILLE, SC - Wednesday night's scheduled Southern League baseball game between the Greenville Braves and Huntsville Stars has been postponed due to rain and wet grounds at Greenville Municipal Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 6:00pm.

In game one, righthander Bubba Nelson (3-3) will pitch for Greenville vs. Huntsville lefthander Luis Martinez (4-2). In the nightcap, lefty Ray Aguilar (0-1) is slated to start for the Braves against Stars righty Matt Parker (1-1).

Following Thursday's twinbill the Braves will hit the road for a four-game series beginning Friday night at Orlando. Thursday's promotions at Municipal Stadium are Gatti-Town Braves Buddies Night and Ticket Advantage's FanFest, which begins at 4:00pm.
