POST-GAME COMMENTS

Head Coach Nikola Popovic

It was a very even game between two teams who in my opinion play some of the most beautiful football in the USL. We dominated and had a lot more scoring chances in the first half, but they came out in the second half and scored on a set play in, and then a bad bounce for their second goal. However, we created a lot of chances, we shot a lot of times and I don't believe the scoreboard shows what really happened. I think we have to be proud of our guys and the way they battled until the very end tonight, and give credit to North Carolina FC they are a fantastic team, but I think if we continue to play the way that we did tonight, great things will come for us.
