Frostbite Acquire D-man from Roanoke

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Frostbite, proud member of the United Hockey League, announced today that they have acquired defenseman Pete Ollari from the Roanoke Valley Vipers in exchange for future considerations.

The 27-year-old Ollari enters his third professional season in 2005-06. He appeared in 11 games as a rookie with the ECHL's Toledo Storm in 2003-04, and appeared in 41 games with the Danbury Trashers last season, tallying one assist and adding 32 penalty minutes.

Prior to turning professional, Ollari played four seasons of collegiate hockey at SUNY-Plattsburgh. In 111 career games with the Cardinals, he posted 31 goals and added 49 assists for 80 points. Ollari was named a Second-Team All-American following his senior season.

Adirondack opens the 2005-06 regular season on Friday, October 22 with a road date at Richmond. The Frostbite open the home portion of the schedule on Saturday, October 23, also against the RiverDogs, with face-off set for 7:35 p.m. at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
