
Fronts Beat IceDogs in Overtime

The Niagara IceDogs fell 4-3 in overtime to the Kingston Frontenacs Saturday night at the Meridian Centre.
After a scoreless first, Graham Knott beat Frontenacs goaltender Lucas Peressini at 6:11 of the second to give the IceDogs a 1-0 lead. Conor McGlynn and Lawson Crouse answered for the Frontenacs as they took a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
Just 26 seconds into the third, Crouse scored his second of the game to make it 3-1. Brian Brosnan's fourth of the season made it a one-goal game, before Josh Ho-Sang extended his point streak to four games, beating Peressini for the tying goal with less than three minutes left.
For the second straight night, the IceDogs headed to overtime.
Chad Duchesne beat IceDogs goaltender Brandon Hope 2:30 into the extra frame to win the game for the Frontenacs.
The IceDogs travel to Belleville tomorrow to face the Bulls, their third game in three days.
