The scoring was halted until the sixth inning until Ryan Matranga scored on a wild pitch. Later in the inning, the Bullfrogs added another on an RBI single from Bryant Burleson that scored Robert Youngdahl, giving the Bullfrogs a commanding.

Willmar's offense picked up in the seventh and eighth inning. The Stingers scored one in the seventh and then exploded in the eighth, finally stinging Green Bay starter Ben Graff.

Wilmar batted through the order scoring six runs to tie the game at eight. The scoring was highlighted by a bases loaded double from Colton Bottomley that cleared the bases and brought around the final runs of the inning.
