Frisco RoughRiders Back on Fox Sports Southwest Thursday

FRISCO, TEXAS (AUGUST 26, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders will return to television on Fox Sports Southwest for Thursday's home game against the San Antonio Missions (San Diego Padres affiliate). The 7 p.m. game will be the second regional telecast of RoughRiders baseball on Fox Sports Southwest in the past two weeks and will highlight the impressive talent throughout the Texas Rangers' farm system as well as the success of the various minor league affiliates in 2015.

The broadcast on Thursday will air at 7 p.m. CDT and will be part of a baseball doubleheader on Fox Sports Southwest, as the Rangers will complete their series against the Blue Jays in Arlington that day at 1:05 p.m. Alex Vispoli, the "Voice of the RoughRiders," will deliver the play-by-play of the game and will be joined on the broadcast by Anthony Andro and Paul Kruger. Andro is the Rangers beat writer for Fox Sports Southwest and Kruger is the Rangers' Manager of Minor League Operations. Players from each Texas minor league affiliate will be showcased over the course of the telecast.

The pitching matchup slated for Thursday's game has Jose Leclerc (5-6, 5.09) starting against fellow right-hander Bryan Rodriguez (6-12, 4.27). Leclerc is in his first year as a starting pitcher and is rated among the Rangers' top 30 prospects by both Baseball America and MLB.com.

The RoughRiders' current home stand runs through Friday, August 28. Frisco will complete the 2015 season at home on Labor Day weekend with a series against Midland from September 5-7.
