The Frisco Fighters (2-0) take on the Duke City Gladiators (1-1) for the first time in Frisco's inaugural home game. The teams face off on Saturday, June 5 at 7:05 p.m. CT at Comerica Center.

The Fighters are coming off a bye week ranked #1 in the Indoor Football League.

"It can be hard to get focused coming off a bye week, but we have a resilient group of guys who are ready to get back out on the field," said head coach Clint Dolezel. "We're just excited for our first home game and a chance to show Frisco what we're all about."

Saturday's matchup is a rematch of what was supposed to be the Fighters' inaugural game in 2020, which was canceled just hours before kickoff due to COVID-19. The Fighters are ready for another chance to face Duke City

Duke City's strong roster is led by quarterback Nate Davis, who was named the IFL's Player of the Week after week five. The Gladiators currently sit one spot behind the Fighters in the IFL's 2021 week seven standings.

Frisco put up a lackluster performance against Louisville despite coming away with the win. The team fell short in the first half but banded together and scored 21 points in the second half while holding Louisville to just one score.

Coach Dolezel is looking for four quarters of consistent football this Saturday at Comerica Center.
