
Frisco Fighters Re-Sign Wide Receiver Cole Blackman

FRISCO, TEXAS - The Frisco Fighters head coach, Andre Coles, announced the re-signing of Wide Receiver Cole Blackman for the 2024 season.
Blackman attended Atlee High School where he was rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN. He was selected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl and was selected as 5A Second Team All-State for Wide Receiver.
As for college, Blackman attended UVA, Illinois State, and finished his career at William & Mary where he led the team in receptions (26), receiving yards (426), and receiving touchdowns (3). He also recorded a 32-yard catch that was featured in Sports Center's top 10 (#5) and was selected in the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF).
After College, Blackman spent some time with the BC Lions a team in the CFL - Canadian Football League, and later signed with the Frisco Fighters in the IFL in 2023.
