
Frisco Fighters Re-Sign Running Back Martez Carter

FRISCO, TEXAS - The Frisco Fighters head coach, Andre Coles, announced the re-signing of Running Back Martez Carter.
Carter attended Richwood High School in Monroe, Louisiana where he led his team to a state title.
Carter went on to attend Grambling State University where he had a standout collegiate career, with 3,376 All-Purpose Yards and 36 Touchdowns.
He then continued his professional career going undrafted in 2018 to the Washington Football Team where he attended training camp and played in a preseason game against the New York Jets where he had seven rushing attempts for 45 yards. Carter then signed with the New Orleans Saints Practice Squad but was cut in the spring. He then was drafted to the Los Angeles Wildcats of the XFL as the No. 56 Pick. In Week 3 against the DC Defenders, Carter proved his nickname of "Mr.Excitement" as he had 34 rushing yards, 41 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Shortly after, Carter took his talents to the Indoor Football League Signing with the Massachuttes Pirates in 2022 and had 125 yards with one touchdown and was traded to the Frisco Fighters mid-season in 2023. In 8 games, he had 491 rushing yards, 73 receiving yards, and eight all-purpose touchdowns.
