Frisco Fighters News Release
FRISCO, Texas - The Frisco Fighters' inaugural game on Thursday, March 12 will be known as Drew Pearson Night. Mr. Pearson, the Fighters' Chief Relationships Officer, will be in attendance and honored before and throughout the game.
The Fighters believe that Drew Pearson is easily worthy of NFL Hall of Fame recognition, and it is our privilege to have him as a part of our team and family.
We formally invite the media and public to attend the first-ever contest for the Frisco Fighters as we host the reigning back-to-back champs of the Champions Indoor Football (CIF) league, Duke City Gladiators.
"I'm excited to be back in football with the Frisco Fighters of the IFL," Pearson said. "Indoor football has a secure place in the big, wide world of sports."
In his role, Pearson will serve as an ambassador for the team within the region and will be a valuable asset to the league itself. Pearson will also lend his talents to Fighters television broadcasts, serving as an analyst for all televised Fighters games.
"The Fighters bring all of the key ingredients for franchise success," Pearson said. "Great ownership, great management, great coaching and talented players, and I'm glad to be part of it all. Go Fighters!"
