
Friday's Scheduled Game at Southern Maryland Rained Out

The York Revolution will be forced to wait an extra day to attempt to extend their winning streak as Friday night's scheduled series opener against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD was postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the contest in a twi-night doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 6:05 p.m.
The Revs (9-6) have won four consecutive games, coming off a 6-2 opening homestand and a four-game sweep of the Bridgeport Bluefish, sitting in first place in the Freedom Division, one game ahead of the Sugar Land Skeeters.
Fans can catch Saturday's doubleheader live on SportsRadio 1350, woyk1350.com, and on the WOYK mobile apps beginning at 5:45 p.m. with Darrell Henry on the call. York right-hander Matt Neil (1-0, 2.00) will start the opener with righty James Simmons (2-0, 2.25) going in the nightcap. Southern Maryland righty Gaby Hernandez (0-0, 5.40) will start the opener with the Blue Crabs yet to name a game two starter.
