
Friday Night Lights, Coaches vs. Cancer High School Baseball at 'The Joe'

TROY, NY- The Tri-City ValleyCats, Class A New York-Penn League affiliate of the World Series champion Houston Astros, will host six high school baseball games at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium as part of Friday Night Lights, with each serving as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
This is the sixth annual event featuring a doubleheader on three consecutive Friday nights. Each participating school has been tasked to sell tickets to their game as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The school that raises the most money will be recognized with a trophy presentation on May 4. Additional fundraising efforts will take place during each game.
The Friday Night Lights schedule is as follows:
Friday, April 20:
4:00 p.m. - La Salle Cadets vs. Watervliet Cannoneers
7:00 p.m. - Cohoes Tigers vs. Voorheesville Blackbirds
Friday, April 27:
4:00 p.m. - Columbia Blue Devils vs. Christian Brothers Academy
7:00 p.m. - Shenendehowa Plainsmen vs. Mohonasen Warriors
Friday, May 4:
4:00 p.m. - Green Tech Eagles vs. Cairo-Durham Mustangs
7:00 p.m. - Niskayuna Silver Warriors vs. Bethlehem Eagles
